Hi everyone! 😊
I think having a sketchbook is an important part of an artistic journey. You can take it with you wherever you go, or almost.
This time I've chosen a cubic format, which is quite rare and allows me to get away from the constraints of the frame: with the square, only the subject matters, there's no aesthetic bias in the composition. It may seem restrictive, but paradoxically it gives me more freedom.
I still have trouble in drawing people, especially strangers, I'm always afraid of disturbing people and I'm afraid of being seen, so I tend to draw objects in the environment a lot more. But I have a whole notebook, in miniature format, that I've devoted to drawing people in the street, and I'll show it to you later.
Here are some studies that I made from the one's of Leonardo Da Vinci.
Hope you will like it!
See you soon for more creations.
