Hello guys how are you today? I hope you are all doing great coz I do π My step count today may not be that impressive but my experience is π
Let's start from the morning, since it's Saturday today it's time to do my weekly shopping in our local marketplace π I went there quite early around 8 AM coz I have plans in the after which you will soon see.
So from my morning shopping I bought the following items:
1kg of pork belly (watch out for a barbeque in the next few days π)
1kg of fish
1kg of cooking oil
1/2kg of onions
2 cloves of garlic
2 pcs of ginger
1 batch of spring onions
1kg of carrots
1 batch of lemon grass
1/4kg of Philippine Lemon (lemonsito)
2 packs of soy sauce
I think that's just about it for the most of my shopping. I almost forgot but I also bought a stone of Potassium Alum (tawas) it's for my son since he is already 10 years old and is almost a teenager so I will have him use this for his under arms so that it won't smell. It's a very native way of doing so coz I hate deodorants here in the Philippines coz it makes your under arm dark. This is based on my own experience and the experiences of other people as well. Even the expensive ones that says whitening doesn't work lol the only one that really work was Potassium Alum (tawas). It didn't totally whiten my under arms but at least it lessen the darkness and now it's almost skin color. So I want my son to use this since not only is it cheap but it works. My under arms sweat but it doesn't stink at all π
In the after is where the real fun begins coz me and my brother accompanied my mother to the hardware store to buy some floor tiles coz the last time we bought it wasn't exact meaning it was missing 4 pcs so we have to go back and buy more. I brought my kid and my brother brought he's kid along with us as well. After our hardware shopping which didn't really take long we went to the mall where the kids can play. It's a place called Kid Paradise and just as the name suggest it really is a paradise for kids π
Well honestly I'm just happy that their business decided to upgrade in like forever. See the photo above? Yeah the one with the balls. Long ago the balls only go below the knee of that kid which means it was so shallow and almost really didn't serve any kind of purpose but now it's a little bit deeper so kids can now swim in those balls.
My son was so happy coz now he can hide below the balls which he can't do before coz it was shallow. He is hiding there and scaring unsuspecting kids lol π He always makes friends during these playtimes which is beyond me coz I'm an introvert which means I rarely go out when I was young and I rarely interact with people but my son is the exact opposite. He can be the party person probably in the future lol
After a good while he got bored and went out from the balls and into the toys area where he found these rubber pieces (which again wasn't here the last time we went here so it's a new toy) which he can use to make something. And boy he made something alright. Just look at the photo and he made some kind of a robot which I'm really proud of. It may not look much but at least he is showing a little bit of creativity which I totally lacked. I don't even have an ounce of creativity in me π€£ so I'm happy that my son is so maybe can be something in the future (hopefully)
I talked to my son afterwards and he was really happy today coz he got to see something new in kid paradise. It will probably be some time again that he will come back depends on my free time π but I'll try to keep him happy for sure he is my son after all.
