Some days ago I shared this particular tomato plant looking weary at sight because of lack of water. Apparently, it is common that during time of the year like this plant like this don't usually survive if proper care isn't well taking. Moreso, this is the time of the year that there is usually scarcity of tomato in the market and it would be costlier than normal. This is it, if your one dollar was able to get 10 pieces of tomatoes during the raining season, during the dry or harmattan period you might be able to get just four or five pieces.
The amount of quantity of tomato you are liable to get in the market is determined by the season and period.
I picked so much interest in the birds which mostly take my time to wet it so that the plant won't lack water. Practically, I dug a hole round the plant root, like drainage so that the root will be able to accommodate water for that moment before I do the wetting exercise again. Virtually, I do the wetting every morning. Though its branches and leaves still look weak and weary but it's good it's bearing seeds are getting ripe.
