Tedesco was afraid

Fear always gives bad advice, that’s a saying that is more than ever true. Especially when it comes to the Belgian national football team.

We have stars like Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, Jeremy Doku and Leandro Trossard, an attacking foursome where many teams are jealous of. But in four games we only scored 2 goals. Incredible if you look at these four names. And upcoming young talents like Bakayoko and Deketelaere…

There is only one reason for that, the coach, Domenico Tedesco. He let the team play without spirit. The most important fact was defending, while our best players are in front and not in defense.

Playing to win?

We got 4 out of 9 points against Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine. Which put us in the round of 16 against France instead of against The Netherlands. An immense difference, and today the loss against France was a fact, well deserved.

This shows once again that you always have to play to win, instead of playing not to lose. That just gets you nowhere.

No, Domenico Tedesco will not win the manager of the year award this year!
