Balancing life’s fast pace with smart time management!...15/09/2024

It’s been a fast and furious saga with me and my classes. Getting caught up with so much to do every day can really make one lose track of time. But all has been good here, and I hope it’s the same for all of you.

Time is one of the most precious things we have, especially when we make good use of it. It’s like a gem that can never be recovered once it’s lost. I recently attended a function where one of the speakers talked extensively about time management
. At first, I was puzzled, wondering why someone would have so much to say about time. But I soon realized that we often think we have enough time to do everything we want, and that mindset can be deceptive if we relax and procrastinate.

Shifting tasks you should handle now can lead to regret later when time has run out. During the program, the speaker made us write down all the things we planned to do from when we left the venue until bedtime. I had a long list, but when she asked, "How much time have you set aside for those things?"—that’s where the challenge was. Effective time management comes from good planning. Prioritizing important tasks and starting with what can be done now is key.

With solid planning, I’ve noticed I can finish the most important things and still have time for unexpected challenges. For example, today I had time to take a well-deserved nap after being stressed for weeks. I studied in the early morning, rested at noon, and even managed to do some cleaning around my neighborhood—something important for a cleaner environment. Here's to using our time wisely and doing the things that truly matter! Below are pictures from my cleaning activity today.
