About Stamps and the Future by @trautenberk

Screenshot from 2024-10-12 12-12-46.png

The stamps of a country are like a class of history. We can go through its marked moments, its most important characters, places and monuments, even its flora and fauna. Whenever I see a philatelic collection, that nostalgic spirit invades me, remembering how different communication was just a couple of decades ago. But I also remember the uncertainty of waiting for news from distant friends for days or weeks. Any past tense was... previous. 😁 Thanks for sharing your little philatelic treasure.

Thanks for the overview, It's good to see so much happening on Hive. I haven't checked the snaps on Peakd yet but I will take a look. Be interesting to see how the subscription function works for inleo. It could be interesting for some users.

Beautiful and Highly Active - Monomad by @androliuben

A nice collection of photographs. The model transmits joy naturally and the locations are great. I loved the photo in which the lady smokes that cigar, it is a print with pure Cuban flavor and reminded me of Mrs. Celia Cruz, what a great woman.

[ENG/ESP] A way out or escape from quarantineTBT. by @karlex77

I know a few who also saw each other secretly and they're not here to tell about it today hahaha, but I'm glad that's not the case with you. It was really frustrating not seeing the people we love every day, but somehow many of us managed to do it, and in a healthy way. Thank you for sharing this memory full of smiles in the community bro!...

Blood sugar units

It's important to remember that blood sugar can be measured in two units: mmol/L and mg/dl. Many diabetic patients have a glucometer at home, which displays one of these units. This can confuse patients who are unfamiliar with the other unit when they see the result. It's important to note that both units are correct, and they simply represent the measurement in different ways.

Converting between the two units is fairly simple using the following formulas: mmol/L × 18 = mg/dl and mg/dl ÷ 18 = mmol/L. For example, if a blood sugar reading is 5 mmol/L, it can be converted to 90 mg/dl (5 × 18). Conversely, if the blood sugar level is 150 mg/dl, it can be converted to 8.3 mmol/L (150 ÷ 18).

I want to share something I've been excited about lately. It's called LiveGood, and it's all about helping people improve their health, save on daily products, and even create an additional income stream if they're interested.

If you're curious, here is a quick short video that explains it. The best part is that they accept Crypto as a payment option!
