Friends, it's been a while since I brought you a song in Spanish, since this week I've only commented on songs in English and Italian, so I missed bringing you one in this language. Knowing that, I tell you that I really like today's song, and I can say that it's one of the ones I like the most from this group. The song in question is called "Ecos de amor" and it's from the group or band, as you want to call it, Jesse & Joy. Did you know it or do you already know the group? I'll be reading your comments. This song is not recent, in fact it came out back in 2015, so it's been a while. But since most of us in this community speak English, I'm sure that many of you haven't heard it yet, so it's a valid recommendation. Don't worry, you'll be hearing it in a few moments.

First, I'll tell you a little about how I came across this song. The truth is, it wasn't because I was up to date with the latest music when it came out. In fact, I have already told you many times that at that time in my country there was still no internet for the public. It was not until 2021 that I heard it. I discovered it in a somewhat curious way. I say this because I had heard another song of theirs, "La de la Mala Suerte", which I liked and made me look for some more songs by the group. However, until now "La de la mala suerte" is still my favorite song by this group. For me "Ecos de amor" is in second place. Well, the thing is that that's how I found the one we're talking about today, indirectly through another song. It's funny when sometimes through a song you didn't know you get to discover a whole group.

I think the lyrics of the song have several interesting things. To start with, I think the idea of "echoes." I think it clearly talks about those things that we leave behind, but that never go away completely. No matter how much time passes or how much we try to ignore them, there is always something that is still there. And we can apply that in several ways, depending on whether you are looking at the literal romantic side of the lyrics or if you apply it to another context, I don't know if you understand me. What I think is that the song has a meaning that goes beyond what it seems at first glance, when you hear it for the first time, which you immediately associate with a partner or something like that. But I like to analyze the lyrics a little further. Of course, it could just be a story of someone who can't get over a past relationship. But it could also be about how experiences, in general, mark us.

I like the message in general that it wants to convey, from a neutral perspective. That is to say, "echoes" don't have to be something bad, they can be reminders of what we lived through, or what we learned and in a certain way, of how we have changed thanks to it. That's why I like the message so much, because it's very true. On the other hand, if we talk about teaching in the literal sense, I think, and I say this from my interpretation, that it has to do with accepting that some emotions don't go away easily. That is to say, sometimes we want to close a stage or leave something behind, but there is always something that resists or doesn't want to go, it can be both in a physical or mental sense, I think that the consequences come in here too, although those apply to both sides. 😅 That's right, the important thing, I think, is how we choose to live with those "echoes."

It's simple, we shouldn't let them weigh us down and prevent us from moving forward. The past is the past. It's a somewhat cliché message, it's true, but you know how many people don't take it into account, that's why it's good to listen to the song, because to a certain extent it raises awareness about it.

I think that for those who do not take the song's lesson into account, those echoes, so to speak, can also become chains if they do not know how to handle them. I think that the lesson here is to learn to distinguish between what we should leave behind and what we can keep as something valuable, we could say. Although saying it is easier than doing it, it has happened to me many times and in fact it still happens to me with many things. That is why you should go at your own pace, and do it little by little, leaving behind the bad and keeping the good.

And well, friends, what do you say about this? I think there is a lot to cut here, if someone leaves me their opinions in the comments, you know that I will be happy to answer them, so that we all learn something. So how about you listen to the song now and learn more from it. Below is the video and then we will see today's letter recommendation.
