People do remembrance for the dead and with the ones I’ve seen, they always have a very elaborate celebration for the dead most especially if the person was an amazing one. Also, if the person is still the baddest person on earth, he will still be remembered but remembered for another cause.
What we do today when we are alive speaks a lot about us and about the legacy that we are trying to leave behind.
It’s just like we leaving a watchword for some certain people based on how we lived our lives when we were alive.
Our life is like a journey, it is full of moments, some more memorable than others, pause for a moment to think, if you would be at the end of the road, what are the footprints you wish to leave?
Do we all know that we are leaving some particular footprints with our present behaviors? What you do is like a legacy for those who look up to you will follow. Well, a lot of us wish to put down some legacies but we are sometimes distracted or can’t live the life we want.
But if we are being intentional and serious about the whole thing, one footprint I would love to leave is fairness. We now live in the world where people are only being fair or life is only being fair to the rich ones why the poor ones will have to suffer too hard for what they want.
Life isn’t fair for the poor ones and even when they want to speak up, they eventually get cheated on or even shutted up which is really sad. The world treats the rich people with fairness and kindness while the poor ones with wickedness. If I’m wrong, please prove it to me.
I just want to live a life that when you come to my table, I will treat you with love and fairness regardless of who you are. That’s what I want people to say about me and that’s the kind of life I want for myself.
It has always been my dream and I know that I am gradually leaving this footprint for some people who may be looking up to me right now.
