Some of you may know that my wife does home health care for several seniors in our local area. Today was one of her clients' birthdays. Ms. Betty turned 89 today, and my wife invited me to her secret birthday party. Of course, I was willing to go! I really enjoy spending time with the older folks, and often, the company is not only needed but wanted as well.

Someday, if you're blessed, you will be celebrating your 89th birthday. The question is... Will there be anyone there to celebrate with? The people we impact in our lives are important. Could I have done something different today? Of course. But could I have made an impact on someone just by showing up like I did? Not likely. Remember this when you have the chance to make a difference in someone's life today!
