Today, I woke up in a hazy mood, probably due to oversleeping caused by the heavy Christmas dinner I had last night. There is also the lingering problem of the pain in various areas of my abdomen that can be interpreted in many ways, such as a possible gall bladder stone issue, a kidney issue, a colon problem or other.
Nonetheless, I can still say that I am happy to be ALIVE! I got cool gifts yesterday (and I gave out cool gifts, too), and the family was united and happy after years of animosity. There was peace, albeit shaky and tentative, in the home. I even gave a gift to the lazy housekeeper, and she was visibly joyous and beaming with gratitude over it.
I hope the positive streak continues as we all plod through life and hope for the best in everything.
