Welcome to the North Coast Regional Botanic Gardens, Coffs Harbour in New South Wales, Australia.
The Aboriginal traditional custodians call this whole area Gumbaynggirr Country.
It has become a very popular place on the mid north coast of New South Wales because of its great climate with an average year-round max day time temperature of 21 degrees Celsius.
I did not do all my activity count here today, but it sure was a nice place to explore and build a nice total after an early morning run.
There were lots of different areas within the gardens, and the Japanese area below was one of my favourites. I really like the bonsai trees.
This is also big, old tree country as well. The exposed root systems was pretty impressive.
How is this water dragon lizard hanging out with this big fish in the pond.
Lunch at the Green Frog Cafe to refuel afterwards was pretty good, too!
