Individual perspectives on athletes use of steroids and models to use makeup and photoshop.

Good Morning and happy Wednesday to everyone,
Today I'm about deliberating on Individual perspectives on athletes using steroids and models to use makeup and photoshop

The comparison between the use of anabolic steroids by athletes and the use of makeup and photoshop in the fashion and beauty industry is not entirely equivalent. While both involve altering one's appearance, the health risks associated with anabolic steroid abuse are far more severe and immediate compared to the use of makeup and photoshop.

Anabolic steroids can have serious physical and psychological side effects, including liver damage, cardiovascular problems, hormonal imbalances, and aggression. These risks can have long-lasting consequences on an individual's health and well-being.On the other hand, makeup and photoshop are tools used to enhance or alter a person's appearance temporarily.

While they can create unrealistic beauty standards and perpetuate certain beauty ideals, their use does not pose the same level of immediate health risks as anabolic steroids. It is important to note that the fashion and beauty industry has faced criticism for promoting unrealistic beauty standards and heavily relying on photoshop to create unattainable images. This can contribute to body image issues and low self-esteem among individuals who compare themselves to these idealized representations.

However, it is worth considering that the use of makeup and photoshop is often a personal choice made by models, actors, and individuals in the industry. They may use these tools to enhance their features, create a desired look, or meet the demands of their profession. It is not inherently illegal or harmful, as long as it is not used to deceive or manipulate consumers.

Ultimately, the fairness of models using makeup and photoshop is subjective and depends on individual perspectives. Society should strive for more diverse and inclusive beauty standards, promoting body positivity and self-acceptance, while also encouraging transparency and responsible use of these tools in the fashion and beauty industry.

The problem is that the steroids used in sports are ingested or injected directly into the body, which makes it more dangerous than makeup which is only applied on the skin.

You are quite correct friend

Thanks for educating.. Its nice getting to know new things

You are welcome friend

I’m glad you said using makeup by models is a personal choice. Okay, but then using of makeup and beauty enhancement tools by models is not really so personal like that
It’s the agency of whoever hired you
So if the agency expects you to be in a certain then you have to if not, you can’t work for them.
They are agencies who do prefer no make up though but I’m yet to find an agency like that
