Hello everyone,
Season greetings to you, trust you had a blissful night's rest and you are up today to rest, regain strength from the week's works, and prepare for the next week's works and activities.
A glimpse of my Saturday workout with a friend's bicycle was a beautiful Saturday morning, and my friend had just dropped off his old bike at my doorstep as he came to visit. He had to leave and take a short nap since he was on night duties, He entrusted me to take care of his prized possession.
I was thrilled to have the opportunity to ride it around my neighborhood street. I quickly put on my sports sleeveless and hopped on the bike.
The first thing I noticed was how smooth and powerful the engine was. I revved it up a few times and felt the adrenaline rush through my veins. I started cruising down my street, feeling the wind on my face and the sun on my skin. The bike was so easy to handle, and I felt like I was gliding on the road.
I passed by some of my neighbors who were out for a morning walk, and they all turned to look at me and the bike. I could see the envy in their eyes, and smile. I decided to take a detour and explore some of the nearby streets.
I rode past a park and saw some kids playing soccer. They all stopped and stared at me as I rode by. I felt like a celebrity on my friend's bike. After a while, I decided to head back home. As I turned onto my street, I saw a group of bikers parked outside my house. They were all admiring my friend's bike and taking pictures of it. I felt proud to be the one riding it. I parked the bike in my compound and took a moment to admire it. It was a beautiful bike, and I was grateful for the opportunity to ride it. I knew my friend would be happy to hear that his bike was in good hands.
I gained some benefits from cycling this morning and one of them is physical fitness, Cycling is a great form of exercise that can help improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles, and increase stamina.
I'm made to understand that regular cycling can also help with weight management and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
I believe that my mental well-being has also improved immensely because I discovered that a lot of stress, anxiety, and depression have been working on.
My joints have also improved, no doubt that cycling is a low-impact exercise that puts less strain on the joints compared to activities like running or weightlifting. It can help improve joint mobility, reduce the risk of arthritis, and strengthen the surrounding muscles, providing better support to the joints, while it increases my energy level.
Thanks for stopping by and do visit next time.
