Music and space: A drive through Memory lane. Far and not so far away.

Music is good for the soul.

Hats off to all music lovers. Music is a true friend and companion, one that stays by your side regardless of the situations and circumstance, you face in a particular space and time.Tuesday has finally come upon us, You know what time it is, damn right! It’s Triple T all the way TTT.

Shout out to @ablaze for sponsoring our different tours down memory lane and present for those bumping and enjoying jams that are currently been released by the new school cats. I have always been musically curious and listened to any type of music until I felt the craft and its soul taken away from rap and most songs I loved of different genres.

Any who! I am here traveling in a different vehicle of vibes. Today I am going through folk music, with a simple pattern relatively new to a couple of years back and finally one that will never die a true classic by my standards.

Starting with the band Lukas Graham. Yes you heard me right the band,Lukas Grahamtakes its name from its lead singer Lukas graham the band is easily mistaken for an individual. What a beautiful way of crafting a whole group into an individual, this is the art and craft of music right here, a beautiful representation of what we get when a composition is done and everything blends in together from the music to the instruments to give us a harmonious piece that blows us away.

7years is my track of choice an amazing road trip into a time one is young through to a time they grows up. This song, I love for its melody and rhythm. The lyrics are a pure show of luck of hard work, when it come to writing songs this day and age. The years he was saying were not going along with the actions he did at the time. Like his father giving him advice to get a wife at 11 years lol.

Despite many fancy theories I still vibe to the song and not to spoil it for you with my thoughts I’ll let you take time to listen to it and let’s talk it over on the comment section.

I love stories and I naturally gravitate to the story behind the song. A story I have always liked is about a young girl with the responsibility of looking after a father who has become older than his age because of substance abuse. A girl whose story reminds, that is not bad to dream, even when the weight of life of her shoulder she dreamt of making in life. In this song she narrates to the boyfriend who’s got a fats car, a solution on how they can make it by driving to the suburbs, where she can get a job and eventually promoted. As though the song is not enough the instrumental is equally on point balanced for folk music. An amazing piece that has found its self listened to across generations. If I am not mistaken it was chatting a year or so back. A testament to how timeless music can be. A song you can close your eyes to and drive your away from your current state what ever it is, into a place of hope renewed hopes

.

And the top of my list is the song the times are a changing . A song by Bob Dylan. A song that will make sense of every revolution. So much so for the times we are currently in when the systems and the house of cards is facing challenges and the young folk are signing of freedom from them. A song that tells the gate keepers time has come for the next generation to raise. No matter how you hold on to the system its days are almost over. For those going through different situations a song that will very much penetrate the situation and remind you those that have been slow will become fast. If you have been going through situations, they will soon be know more. Listen to this classic here and vibe to a song of the ages. A song of truth and amazing tales .

Thank you for reading. I hope you enjoyed my weeks selection. Until next time, Stay blazing and banging to your favorites.
