Oh I'll definitely recommend it, especially with the kid! Get her addicted to collecting virtual creatures as early as you can... hehehe
Really though, the game has evolved quite a bit in recent years, it's still very basic but it does give you reasons to take your on-screen adventures to the outside.
10/10 can recommend!
