God does not listen to idol worshippers. God has no business with idol worshippers. He warned us against idol worshiping. He hates idol worshippers. We are not to bow down for any idol. We are to worship God and serve Him only.
Exodus 20:5 (KJV) Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Idol worshippers are offenders of God. Bro Eli Soriano explained to us that God has no business with idol worshippers. There is no way God can listen to idol worshippers. God and idols do not have anything in common. People that worship idols are not acceptable before God.
Joshua told the children of Israel to choose whom they would serve. We should decide to serve the true and living. Joshua decided to serve the living God. For us to please God, we must follow God and shun idol worship.
