How much do you enjoy prayer? How far can you pray? Do you really understand that the christian life is a life of prayers?
One of the Old Path videos from MCGI talks about the christian life being a life of prayers. We are people who are to continue steadfastly in prayers. We are to follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ in prayers.
Luke 6:12 (KJV) And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
The Bible says that Jesus went to the mountain to pray and continued there all night. That is a true example of a praying life.
** Praying From The Mountain**
Jesus went to the mountain to pray. The mountain is a place of elevation. On the mountain one is above the normal level ground. On the level ground, you mingle with almost everything and everyone. But on the mountain, you are elevated above all distraction and distractors.
Prayer elevate us from the level ground of sin and carnality. It brings us to the realm were we communicate with God. Jesus Christ our Lord prayed on the mountain. He went to the mountain, far away from every human distraction to pray.
He Continued All Night
We should learn to endure at the place of prayers. Jesus prayed all night. We should pray continuously and steadfastly.
