The Time Jumper

in The Ink Well8 days ago

Hello, Hivers. Hope you don't get weirded out too much by what you'll see here.

This story was inspired by people who always seem to get things right. They seem to be always spot on no matter what. Like some people buy at a low price just before it mooned or sold just before it descended to hell. These people seemed to turn everything they touch into gold as if they're King Midas.

I thought long and hard, there's only 2 explanations, its either they have been very good their past lives and reeaping good karma now or they have a means to go back in time to correct their mistakes.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present: The Time Jumper

Welcome to the Inkwell,

Now that you're here, please have a look around and get to know our community. Here are a few tips for getting acquainted:

  • Be sure to read The Ink Well community rules at the top of the community home page, and check out our FAQ about The Ink Well.
  • We accept two kinds of short stories in The Ink Well: fictional stories and creative nonfiction stories. We are all about quality, and we expect writers to carefully review their work before posting. Not doing so will result in low curation rewards or posts being ignored. You can see our article on checking your posts for grammar here.
  • You can find some great articles on story writing in our catalog of storytelling tips.
  • You can find information about what we are looking for in creative nonfiction stories in this post.

And please be sure to engage in the community by reading and commenting on the work of other community members. We ask everyone who posts in The Ink Well to read and comment on at least two other stories for each one published.

Again, welcome!

Thank you♥️

Hello @metapizix,

Welcome to Hive and to the Inkwell. You have posted a creative blog, but it is not the sort of content we curate in the Inkwell. We curate more traditional form stories. Take a look around and get a feel for what we do here.

In your intro blog you explain that you like cats, time travelers and other contemporary themes. Great. Write a story about what interest you (keep in mind the guidelines noted in the Inkwell response to your blog) and we will happily curate.

Good luck and have fun on the Hive platform.

Hi agmoore, thank you for the tips. Nice to meet you as well.
