Yesterday I guided a fantastic family (2+2, kids 10- and 14yrs old) on a stretch of a long distance trail (250km) they are doing as their vacation). For the better part of the day it was raining and we got soaked. For the first time this summer my boots were wet.
A mere rain won’t kill us and we enjoyed it. During the last 1/3 of our hike the weather improved and allowed us to have some views.
We stayed in a mountain cabin for the night. Today the family will go on and I am returning to my car. Weather looks good. No rain forecast for today
