It doesn't feel like I've joined Hive for long even though a lot has happened for me to have gotten this far. I can remember when I learnt about Hive existence, I was so excited about the fact that I found a new place to share my write ups. And that is because I was on another blogging site that wasn't doing so well and eventually, Hive stole me away completely.

Aside special days like my Hive anniversaries, I tend to celebrate the existence of Hive by being consistent daily and keeping the engagement as always. Just some days ago, I was celebrating with a friend for her third year on Hive and I remembered mine wasn't so far away as well. She joined Hive a month before I did, we knew ourselves from the other blogging site I was in before.
Three days ago, my own Hive anniversary came and @hivebuzz did not fail to congratulate me with a beautiful badge.
I never thought I'd be active for this long when I signed up for Hive, I never did!
But today, I'm celebrating three years on Hive with an even energized mind to continue growing my account if God wills. The testimonies since I joined Hive are numerous and I won't be able to count them all in this post but I'm grateful.
Since my last update about my account, there haven't been much changes to my profile as regards to followers gained, badges earned but a lot have happened that contributed to my growth in many other aspects.
I went through my profile three days ago to commemorate my Hive anniversary as if I had not done that everyday before that day lol. I couldn't help but smile at how far I've grown in my last three years here. The growth may not have been as fast as others I've seen, but a journey worth celebrating.
From 25 rep to 75 rep, more than 900 followers with many badges earned.
I thought I'd be able to gain a thousand followers before I completed three years on Hive but that didn't work out obviously but it isn't a setback to the growth I've witnessed since I've been here.
Becoming more with my Hive account in the past 3 years.
One thing I've come to understand being on Hive is that, as I grow my account here, I am contributing to many other accounts to grow even though in very little ways. A little vote here, a single reblog here, a comment there and a content share... I have boosted my account and the account of others over the years.
These badges from Hivebuzz are a great motivation to continue, I wouldn't have believed I've shared that much into the blockchain if these records were not kept for me to check from time to time.
Making videos have also helped me discover more about what I can offer to the blockchain. I started vlogging a year after I joined Hive and it's been one of the best steps I've taken on Hive.
My improvements since my newbie days have been remarkable for me. From just writing to writing more creatively, better images, editing, reviews, and my video, all that are a proof that I am growing in every way possible.
Another way I am gaining while boosting others is growing my Hive power. To do that more successfully and consistently, I join every HPUD and do power ups daily. Even though I've missed a few days, I've powered up more since I started to do it more intentionally.
From zero HP to 11k and counting... That is some huge progress for me.
Now, I give notifying votes and earn more with just curation. It's a lot of progress from when I started on Hive. I know it would take a really long time to become an orca talk more a whale on Hive with just posting content but it is my only option for now and I'd love to keep being consistent in it.
Contributing to Hive is an obligation I love to do.
I've gotten so many appreciation from people I've assisted even in the most little things to believe that I am contributing my part to the blockchain by helping new users find their way just as I got help when I joined. With what Hive has helped me accessed in real life, I've gotten people believe in what Hive can do for them.
I am also one of those Hivers who makes sure to shun wrong doings or mistakes on the blockchain when I come across them and I make corrections when necessary.
My engagement on the platform may not be as strong as when I started but I'm not out of the engagement game, I know well enough what that act has done to my growth here on Hive and I try to keep up no matter how busy it gets for me as I explore more potentials on the blockchain.
To more fruitful years on Hive!
To more connections!
Happy Hive birthday to me! 🎂🎉
