The break is better than the/any stagnation - Amol Gade
I came across this quote and I think it fits so well with what I'm about to share. This post is long overdue but better late than never and I like the memories it brought back as I was editing the video, all the smiles and laughs I gave in many scenes.
We chose a day, maybe I chose a day rather because I had always wanted to take my siblings out for this particular kind of outing and we decided to go have fun and do a take out.
It was as if the weather, the feeling and even my wallet was in agreement for our outing so we didn't waste much time when the day came. Got dressed up, took some pictures and we set out to the spot we had in mind.
Chicken Republic is known for it's amazing chicken and especially, it's big pot. The plan was to get the big pot, ice-cream and go back home to devour them in peace but we changed our minds to sit back and have our ice-cream there while we chatted away.
It's funny how I was the one with the camera mostly but still had so much fun watching my siblings looking happy and free from whatever we've been busy with until that day. We needed the break, especially myself as I was preparing for my country service call.
I spent a lot that day but I had so much fun, ate a lot and felt so good too so it all made up for a good day for my siblings and I. I thought I should begin the post with a quote like @nhaji01 does 😅 it's a way for me to avoid any billing coming from her after she sees this post.
There were no much pictures taken from that day but there are videos so I did some editing and combined everything about that day. Do check it out and I hope it brings some smiles to your face. I'm looking forward to having such a break again in the nearest future and like the quote says, I'd rather have breaks like this to avoid any stagnation.
In a few weeks time, I'll be back to my country service and I'm hoping to go on another before I leave. I'll need all the fun I can get before life gets serious on that side lol. Well, that's it that day for my siblings and I, what do you think?
By the way, the song I used as the background music is "Vision by Qinq Madi", a song that I can't seem to get out of my head lol.
Images and videos used are all mine
