I would Again Choose Boat Trip: My Journey to Burutu

in HiveGhana11 months ago (edited)

You know the Phobia people have for this Boat thing, well I don't have it. Usually what scares people the Most usually don't scare me at all. Although I still too have my fears I'm tryna deal with but on this it's a no no... Well here's me having to have a Boat trip which would last for Close to an Hour.

On the inception of our Journey I realized firstly that the water from the shore wasn't that Clean at all if one could mistakenly fall inside it that person would get a share of the dirtiness which obviously isn't a pleasant one.

The fee Costing about ₦3,500, for me I could say that it was too much to offer for just a journey that could last for an Hour but then you obviously can't compare land to Water so I would understand them on that though. It was time that we all boarded the boat that was when I discovered that even old people too get scared.

Initially I had thought that getting old would take away some phobias from you but certainly not on this case...

Now we were fully boarded and set to move the first thing was getting Petro from the fuel station and I thought it would be something that you just get from a close landed station but to my greatest surprise the fuel station was built right in the sea, never thought it would be this attractive but then I wonder how these people manage to cope staying there without them thinking of their life.

Like it's just so exclusive from the land and this is just another adventure for me. Trust me I took pictures to keep for memories if probably I never get to journey through a boat again.

On our journey we saw huge vessels that could carry goods costing billions of naira and to us from our view we were just like ants on the midst of this vessel,

we also met with the Navies; these guys ship looked very attractive wanting me to just go into the Navy school and become one but then my path can't align with that though.

While we got really deep into the journey there I got to see the beauty that really lies in the Sea. This is what is called natural beauty, this beauty flows even from the shores of the sea to the Swamps in the sea, although we didn't get to see fishes because we were driving very fast and didn't have time to stop to get the feel of the river. Although we met some few fishermen who where casting their nets to catch some fish.

Although the journey was fun but the sad part is that Rain don't have to catch up with you while on your Journey because you will be left with no option than you soaking even when they have Tarpaulin, you're still gonna get wet by the Rain.

Traveling by boat gets interesting the more when you have someone you could speak with, at least share stories with them to ease the stress of journeying. I would again choose Water Transportation because it's safe and Quicker.

Wow.
I have travelled through River Benue on several occasions, but I am yet to travel through a sea. I was amazed when you spoke of a filing station built right at that middle of the sea.

It was nice reading through your beautiful experience @menawhisky

Because it's a short trip fuelling stations were built around to help boats refill on their way. Although it isn't really at the Middle but it was not in Land. Thanks for dropping by @ernesto6402

I never travel by sea before.
Seeing this post make me believe that is going to be fun.
Thanks for sharing this.

It's indeed an interesting one and one I'd always wish that everyone give a Trail at least once in a lifetime. Thanks for dropping by @ashiru

So you have phobia for water like this. Now, next time hope you will not fear. You are a veteran in the field. Trust you swim well now.

Travelling by water is a hobby I love although some people usually have sea sickness and dread traveling by sea.I have once d travel from Benin Republic to Mile2 in Lagos Nigeria by sea and I enjoyed every part of the trip..It lasted over 2 hours.Your post brings back some good memories.
