After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Happy Together: The Turtles
Ambition Az a Ridah: Tupac Shakur
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Ambition Az a Ridah of the american artist Tupac Shakur. Who doesn't know the story behind Tupac? He has become one of the most emblematic figures of hip-hop, where he is known by many people who are not even frequent to the genre. His figure was even more exalted, thanks to the rivalry he had with rapper The Big Notoriuos, a rivalry that resulted in a gang fight that ended the lives of both artists. The first time I heard Tupac, was in his collaboration with Dr.Dre called “California Love”, an excellent song by one of my favorite artists.
Tupac Amaru Shakur, also known as 2Pac, was an American rapper born on June 16, 1971 in New York. His career rose to fame thanks to his 1995 album Me Agains the World and 1996's All Eyez on Me. On September 7, 1996, Tupac was shot in Las Vegas in an alleged gangland score settling. Ambitionz Az a Ridah belongs to the album All Eyez on Me which was released on February 13, 1996 by Death Row Records.
Before giving the winner of this night's drawing. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
