After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The Next Episode: Dr Dre & Snopp Dogg
My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is The Next Episode of the both artists Dr Dre. and Snopp Dogg. Ever since I was a teenager, I've been a fan of American hip-hop from the 70's, 80's, 90's. I had started listening to my first songs when I was playing San Andreas Multiplayer, where I had older friends who introduced me to Snopp Dogg and his best known tracks. I loved the songs, until I found out about the man behind most of the beats of the songs, Dr Dre himself. Until that moment, I liked him a lot but I wasn't that fanatic, until I saw the documentary Straight Outta Compton about the rap group N.W.A, of which Dr Dre was part of. I'm not lying, if I say that I have more than twenty Dr Dre songs in my “Likes” on Spotify. While Dr Dre doesn't stand out as much on the rapping side, he does stand out with his instrumentals which are insane.
Dr. Dre, born February 18, 1965 in Compton, California, is an influential producer and pioneer of West Coast hip-hop. He began his career in the group N.W.A(Niggas With Attitudes). and later launched his successful solo career. He has been instrumental in launching the careers of artists such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 50 Cent. “The Next Episode” is part of Dr. Dre's 2001 album, released in 1999, which is one of the most iconic albums in rap history (my favorite).
Before giving the winner of this night's drawing. The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application. However, the application didn't always work, so this time we will be using a Discord bot that is in charge of returning a winner from among all the comments on a Hive post.
