In life, we have things that we love so much in our lives because they bring out the uniqueness in us. In the same vein, we also do have things in our lives we don't like, it could be a character in us, a trait, or something of our inner features. Personally if I could change one thing about my life, I would say it is my introverted lifestyle.

I know that solitude has it own strength but it never without it weakness. It becomes a problem when the weakness is more than its strength and that's how it is in my case. I long for having deeper connections with others but no matter how I try, it ends up being unachievable mostly when trying it in an offline relationship.

Being a Nigerian, there is this enrichment and opportunities that comes with having that social lifestyle. Those that have that ability of connecting with others with ease enjoy more benefits than those who do not.

Although that's not the major reason I consider this what I would like to change but it's part too. My interest to change comes from my recognizing the crucial value of forming genuine meaningful connections with others.

Also, another reason I would want to change this lifestyle is the realization helps out overall well being and gives one a quality living.

In the aspect of changing it, I think walking out of my comfort zone. Trying to do those things I find daunting would help my personal growth. That's trying to keep a conversation running. Also, trying to gain self confidence.

Trying to maintain eye contact would help me project confidence and positive self image. Making out time to check out my friends through phone calls, text, and hangouts would help show I cherish them.

Oooh, thanks a bunch for your generosity.

It's back step by step process. Something that involves consistent discipline of both your mind and physical body. You would have to force your will and your body to cooperate. It's a process so be kind to yourself but what you must do is start somewhere.

That's such a great goal fam. I've heard that it's easy to find friends when you join groups of things you like to do (like running, painting, or book clubs) because you already have at least something in common.
