RE: How do you like to drink water? (Mini comment contest # 5)

in Amazing Drinks7 months ago

THIS IS MY PARTICIPATION IN THE MINI CONTEST

First of all, congrats to the winners 😁💕 Also, my invitation goes to @aurodivys, @marcelys1, and @alegnairam 🙂

For me, on a regular day, the water I drink should be cold from the refrigerator, a full glass (350 ml approx.). I have received several tips on how it's healthier to drink water, but I confess myself uneducable to date. Cold from the fridge is ideal for me. I reserve the pleasure of warm/hot water for herbal teas, which I love and which I also sometimes drink cold, with ice. The heat is oppressive here on this coast (Cumaná-Venezuela), lately the sensation of heat is over 40°; add to that a lot of luminosity, sunlight that burns the skin and damages it quickly, so it's necessary to drink a lot of water during the day (in addition to moisturize the skin and protect it with sunscreen).

Then I drink a full glass of water from the fridge first thing in the morning, and I'm sure I drink more than 7 glasses a day, which is good if you consider that I rarely have any juice or soda. Oh, and I never have water with my meals! I found out it wasn't good for my digestion long ago; this must be the closest thing to a ritual--or lack thereof--when it comes to my water intake.

Hi @marlyncabrera

I completely understand about drinking cold water, and with the heat it is almost an impossible task to be able to drink it warm, or even plain. I have also heard about mixing liquids with solids in meals, (unless they are soups), so I think it is a wise decision not to accompany your meals with water. Those 350 ml glasses are ideal, since I think it is the appropriate amount to drink from time to time. Excellent that you really like water.

Thank you very much for participating in the mini contest.

Cheers!

The pleasure is all mine!

It's been raining a little since two days ago, and the weather is finally feeling cooler, but this sunlight we get here on the coast makes you want water more and more. The sun burns your skin. We'd better keep ourselves hydrated 😌💧
