Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started with wildlife in the yard. From the window, I saw this big buck relaxing in the yard. When I opened the door to go closer, he got up but he didn't flee.
From the deck, Le Chat was giving him her best disapprobation look.
I thought he was just going to slowly leave.
So I checked the front yard, where I found a smaller one. He also stood up when I got closer, but this one quickly ran away.
So I went back inside but later I saw the big one didn't seem to want to leave. He didn't even get up that time.
Actually he did a little later, but just to go lie down somewhere else. All in all he stayed about 2 hours in the yard, just getting some rest I guess.
Le Chat felt safe apparently, falling into deep sleep.
Of course, during all that, Kaia was inside, because the relaxing moments would have quickly turned into full chaos! And much later, when all the deer were gone, we started our daily walk.
Maybe they weren't that far...
But we didn't stay there too long, and headed to the forest. Now we have as much colors on the ground than on the trees.
And we could confirm what I was saying yesterday: we're past the peak colors. Soon most trees will be leaf-less.
I wasn't planning a super long walk, but I saw special Halloween Cubiverse vaults and cauldrons to pick up, so we went all around the forest and took the long way back home.
It was my last chance and I didn't think I would pass the bar for #poprzeczka, but a very long phone call with a friend I hadn't talked with in a while was sufficient. Yes, like I said many times, I like to pace while on the phone, especially when I can do that in the yard. So I live to see another day in #poprzeczka.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
