RE: A sublime weekend full of tasty treats

All this delicious food is making me hungry! I've been eating bland food till yesterday when a friend made a spicy chicken soup with special spices to clear congestion; I have been down with flu courtesy of the hospital!
It would be difficult to pick a favourite from your weekend treats but I think I'd go with the pasta and a cannoli for dessert...oh, and the cream cake!
Happy birthday to your Mom as well🎂 When is yours? Have I missed it?

        I hope you have recovered, Lizzie.
        That pasta is delicious. Simple with few ingredients but so much flavor. To me, some plates of pasta from that place have always looked like comfort food that an Italian grandmother would make.

        My birthday hasn't happened yet, it's in December ;)
