God gave us a brain, and healthy limbs, 5 senses for the best experience in life; and He also gave us creativity to look through ways to solve problems when hit with obstacles
Especially financial ones...
Where below average wage can't solve...
Particularly facing with tons of bills to resolve in up coming 2025...
Fortunately, I thank God that mom is still around, and God granted us a family Ikigai - Build - and a love for food, we continue to look at 5 loaves and 2 fishes concept God has directed us to begin... how yo overcome an upcoming MASSIVE bill slammed by the government I have to face...
That's the problem for owning not a freehold, not even a shared leasehold home in an ever increasing inflation city.
Just so you know, my monthly mortgage is still cheaper than rental in a safer environment for my elderlyto stay, at the same time closer to work and hospitals, saving tons of unseen travelling expenses of time and petrol (gas) to work and back.
So how can a government surcharge challenge be resolved this time?
Creativity with delightful taste
We are too late for Christmas but Chinese (Lunar) New Year is around the corner, and from months of R&D spread out the year has landed us a fragrant batch: buttery, not too sweet, mouthful of real ground walnuts, and evenly baked.
I have been going around to sourcing for the best price, because not always wholesale bakery will have the cheapest source. Sometimes local grocers could be cheaper during certain time of the year (like Christmas) just to lure bakers and chefs to patron their premise more (to support local establishment), just to give the best experience with most reasonable price for customers.
Occasionally, I get distracted with really interesting deals , too! 😅
(No I didn't walk in. Perhaps I should because it is a thrift store)
With every whip, precise, and every flour sifted well with notes taken (for any differences in case of change of brand of ingredients), baking can be fun when it is treated like a magical experiment
Every cookie properly weighed with the most balanced baking so that every bite is immensely satisfied.
I have asked my colleagues of different faith and different ethnic groups to try and they have given very interesting feedback.
Some even suggested to shrink to 1 bite size for Chinese (Lunar) New Year theme because people just like to snack a bit while home visiting so it will not want a full cookie size, which is more suitable for Christmas theme / normal afternoon tea time.
do you think the size is too big?
Love to hear your pint of view
This is an interesting concept indeed going to R&D more tomorrow because it is State Holiday.
Hope you will enjoy my R&D journey logs in the future. It is going to be another busy moment.
It will be tagged with @craftsofluv logo, where I created that account first 7 years prior before I lost and found the private keys again. 🤣
Until Then
Stay healthy, stay curious and learn new things, and stay happy!
