Good afternoon everyone ☕🍄
This is my contribution to the #fungifriday contest organized by @ewkaw
for this edition I want to share two types of mushrooms that I found growing on the surface of rotting wood in the forest near my house while walking a few days ago, these mushrooms look very striking among the surrounding environment, so I think that these mushrooms are visible perfect for the #fungifriday contest.
Are you curious about what types of mushrooms I want to share with you today?
let's follow me to the end to take a closer look at the beautiful mushrooms that grow naturally in the forest near my house, maybe some of you are very familiar with the mushrooms that I share this time, yeah I hope it doesn't become a problem, but on the contrary if you still If you're unfamiliar with the mushrooms I'm sharing today, then this blog is special for you, and of course I really hope that through the posts I make, I can broaden your insight into the world of mushrooms 🍄
actually for the first photo I have published this type of mushroom several times, but this time I also included them in my blog list because of their uniqueness and the way they grow which is very beautiful, it makes me more excited to upload them on my blog today, what mushrooms are they? yeah here's the review 🥰
for the first photo, there are white Marasmius mushrooms that I found growing on organic material, namely the rotting trunks of wild vines. When I was walking in the forest behind the house, I accidentally found them in one corner of the garden, there was a pile there we have left organic waste to rot for a long time for soil fertility, so the presence of the Marasmius fungus in this organic waste is very beneficial because the decomposition process will quickly occur naturally.
Marasmius fungus is a type of fungus that is small in size and is often found growing in damp environments, dry leaves, dead wood and vines as I discovered this time, this fungus is included in the marasmiaceae family and has an important role in the decomposition process as has been said I mentioned at the beginning, with its tiny size, perhaps this mushroom often escapes the attention of many people, but if we look closely we will find a miracle in the form of a very unique and interesting shape.
one of the main characteristics of the marasmius mushroom that I found this time is its cap which is thin and pure white, the cap of the marasmius mushroom is convex and slightly curved at the top, the mushroom stem is relatively short, slender and fibrous, another unique thing is the mushroom that I found this time growing in small groups simultaneously so that makes me very interested in immortalizing and publishing it for all of you.
Below are some photos of marasmius mushrooms that I have captured from various sides of the fungus, hopefully you can get to know the marasmius mushroom more closely.
Tell me your personal opinion about marasmius mushrooms, do you know them better now?
now let's find out the second type of mushroom that I will publish to you, this mushroom is no less interesting than the marasmius mushroom, if the beauty of marasmius mushrooms lies in the way they grow in small groups with perfect arrangement, but the beauty of this second mushroom lies in mushroom color and texture.
what mushroom is that? let's dive in to find out the second type of mushroom 🍄
This is an oyster mushroom which is very popular in the culinary world, but what makes this mushroom unique is its "pink" color. If the oyster mushrooms that are usually cultivated are white, the oyster mushrooms that I found on the surface of burnt wood are pink, so to me this mushroom looks very beautiful and unique.
what are oyster mushrooms?
Oyster mushrooms (pleurotus ostreatus) are one of the most popular and widely cultivated types of mushrooms in the world. This mushroom is known because of its shape which resembles an oyster with a wide, curved hood and slightly wavy edges Oyster mushrooms have varying colors but the most Often found are pure white to brown in color, but I feel lucky and never expected to find pink mushrooms in the forest near my house, and this is an important find since I like mushroom hunting photography.
Oyster mushrooms have a soft texture and delicious taste so these mushrooms are often used in various dishes such as soups, stir-fries and regional dishes. Apart from their delicious taste, these mushrooms are also rich in nutrients, their contents include protein, fiber, B vitamins and minerals such as iron, phosphorus and potassium, apart from that this mushroom also contains antioxidant compounds which can help increase the body's endurance and maintain heart health.
yeah, those are the two types of mushrooms that I have prepared for you today, I apologize profusely if the discussion this time is not very detailed due to limited ideas, thank you very much for reading my mushroom blog, see you in the next post & have a nics day 🥰
