My First Taps on four TON games: Hamster Kombat, Catizen, DjDog and PixelTap
The airdrop of the Notcoin game token earned each participant an average of $100 and made games of the clicker or tapper type based on TON (The Open Network) very famous.
Clicker or tapper games are not among my favorite games but I was very intrigued by their current media success and for this reason I decided to try 4 tapper TON games and in this post I share my thoughts and my gaming experience.
The games I tried are:
- Hamster Kombat
- Catizen
- DjDog
- PixelTap
To play these games you need to install Telegram because these games are bots of Telegram.
Telegram is one of the most popular instant messaging services that you can install from the Google Play Store.
The four games I listed above are free-to-play games because you do not need to buy tokens or NFTs to start playing.
They are also known as tap to earn or tap to airdrop but the correct term in my opinion is tap to airdrop because at the moment all four of these games allow you to accumulate virtual in-game currency that has no value and therefore of income at the moment there is nothing concrete but all four of these games have announced a future airdrop (no sure dates) in which they will distribute their tokens that will be listed, exchangeable and sellable via exchanges and dex.
To participate in future airdrops and receive tokens you need to create a TON Wallet and connect this wallet to games.
I chose Tonkeeper as my TON Wallet but there are various options to choose from.
I start with Hamster Kombat which is the most popular game among the four games I tried.
Hamster Kombat is a simple incremental tapper game playable only through Telegram on Smartphones and you cannot play through the desktop version of Telegram.
The objective in the game is as simple as the game: accumulate virtual currency to make ugrades of the Mining components found in the Mine section to increase the Profit per Hour that accumulates automatically (even offline) up to a maximum of 3 hours.
Therefore, those who want to accumulate a lot of virtual currency should try to open the game every 3 hours and make the claim.
It is also possible to earn virtual currency by simply tapping on the squirrel but this is the most time-consuming and least profitable method (I never do it) and it is also the method that could contribute to your carpal tunnel :) LOL
In the Earn section there are several opportunities to receive rewards but especially at the beginning it is important to complete the Daily Chyper (+1 Million virtual currency) and Daily Combo (+5 Million virtual currency) missions.
Completing these missions is very easy because you can find instructions and tips for completing them by doing a simple web search, and there are also many telegram channels that share these instructions every day.
If you want to participate in future airdrop, it is important that you connect your Ton Wallet to the game by clicking on Airdrop in the Hamster Combat menu
The other game I tried is Catizen.
Catizen is an equally simple game to play but is decidedly much more fun than Hamster Combat because it has more gameplay actions to do.
The goal on Catizen is combine kittens of the same level to get a higher level kitten.
Each time you get a higher level kitten you will increase the earnings per second of Gold tokens that are in-game tokens with which you can:
- buy kittens from the Cat Shop
- you will be able to play the Fishing mini-game.
Some tasks in the Earn section will earn you another virtual currency, the Fish that allow you to purchase different items including the useful Auto feature that will allow you to automate many game actions.
The special feature of Catizen is that it can be played from both Mobile and Desktop PC using the desktop version of Telegram.
As on Hamster Kombat also on Catizen you have to connect your Ton Wallet to the game if you want to be ready for when airdrop comes (date not yet announced).
You can connect your Ton Wallet in the Earn section by clicking on the top right and choosing the second option.
I also started playing on DJDog which has very simple game dynamics like Hamster Kombat.
Slightly more interactive is PixelTap by Pixelverse which has battle dynamics at its core.
Final Considerations.
I tried 4 tapper games and after trying them the questions I asked myself are two:
These tapper games are very easy games to play but they are not fun in the sense that there are blockchain-based games that have enormously more fun game dynamics such as Splinterlands (Hive) and Illuvium (Immutable X).

Even though I consider tapper games unfun they are still playing a very positive role because they could help introduce more people to the world of blockchain, and as for TON, integration with Telegram, which has millions of users, will play an important role.
I will play tapper games in my spare time and only to participate in airdrops.
I honestly do not believe that tapper games will have medium- to long-term prospects, and for this reason I have already decided on a possible strategy for the tokens I will receive from airdrops.
When and if I receive tokens from airdrops I will sell a part to buy TON and another part to buy HIVE and then increase my Hive Power.
So the airdrops will be my main goals and also the only motivations for me to play these games!

L'airdrop del gioco Notcoin ha fatto guadagnare in media 100$ a giocatore e ha reso molto famosi i giochi della tipologia clicker o tapper basati su TON (The Open Network).
I giochi clicker o tapper non sono tra i miei giochi preferiti ma mi ha molto incuriosito il loro attuale successo mediatico e per questo motivo ho deciso di provare 4 tapper TON games e in questo post condivido le mie considerazioni e la mia esperienza di gioco.
I giochi che ho provato sono:
- Hamster Kombat
- Catizen
- DjDog
- PixelTap
Per giocare a questi giochi è necessario installare Telegram perchè questi giochi sono dei bots di Telegram.
Telegram è uno dei più famosi servizi di messagistica istantanea che puoi installare dal Google Play Store.
I quattro giochi che ho elencato sopra sono giochi free-to-play perchè non è necessario acquistare token o NFT per iniziare a giocare.
Sono conosciuti anche come tap to earn o tap to airdrop ma il termine corretto secondo me è tap to airdrop perchè al momento tutti e quattro questi giochi permettono di accumulare moneta in-game virtuale che non ha nessun valore e quindi di guadagno al momento non c'è nulla di concreto ma tutti e quattro questi giochi hanno annunciato un airdrop futuro (non ci sono date sicure) nel quale distribuiranno i loro token che saranno listati, scambiabili e vendibili tramite exchange e dex.
Per partecipare ai futuri airdrop e ricevere i token è necessario creare un TON Wallet e collegare questo wallet ai giochi.
Io ho scelto Tonkeeper come mio TON Wallet ma ci sono varie opzioni tra cui scegliere.
Inizio da Hamster Kombat che è il gioco più famoso tra i quattro giochi che ho provato.
Hamster Kombat è un semplice incremental tapper game giocabile solo tramite Telegram su Smartphone e non è possibile giocare tramite la versione desktop di Telegram.
L'obiettivo nel gioco è semplice quanto il gioco: accumulare la moneta virtuale per fare gli ugrades dei componenti di Mining presenti nella sezione Mine per aumentare il Profit per Hour che si accumula in automatico (anche offline) fino ad un massimo di 3 ore.
Per questo motivo chi vuole accumulare molta moneta virtuale deve cercare di aprire il gioco ogni 3 ore e fare il claim.
E' possibile guadagnare moneta virtuale anche semplicemente facendo tap sullo scoiattolo ma questo è il metodo più dispendioso in termini di tempo e meno remunerativo (io non lo faccio mai) ed è anche il metodo che potrebbe contribuire a farti venire il tunnel carpale :) LOL
Nella sezione Earn ci sono diverse possibilità per ricevere dei premi ma soprattutto all'inizio è importante completare le missioni Daily Chyper (+1 Milione di moneta virtuale) e Daily Combo (+5 milioni di moneta virtuale).
Completare queste missioni è molto facile perchè puoi trovare le istruzioni per completarle facendo una semplice ricerca sul web e ci sono anche tanti canali telegram che condividono queste istruzioni ogni giorno.
Se vuoi partecipare al futuro airdrop è importante che colleghi il tuo Ton Wallet al gioco cliccando su Airdrop nel menu di Hamster Combat
L'altro gioco che ho provato è Catizen.
Catizen è un gioco altrettanto semplice da giocare ma è decisamente molto più divertente di Hamster Combat perchè ha più azioni di gioco da fare.
L'obiettivo su Catizen è combinare i gattini di uno stesso livello per ottenere un gattino di livello superiore.
Ogni volta che avrai un gattino di livello superiore aumenterai il guadagno al secondo dei token Gold che sono in-game token con i quali potrai:
- acquistare gattini dal Cat Shop
- potrai giocare al mini gioco Fishing
Alcune tasks nella sezione Earn ti faranno guadagnare un'altra moneta virtuale, i Fish che permettono di acquistare items diversi tra cui l'utile funzionalità Auto che ti permetterà di automatizzare molte azioni di gioco.
La particolarità di Catizen è che può essere giocato sia da Mobile che da Desktop PC utilizzando la versione desktop di Telegram.
Come su Hamster Kombat anche su Catizen devi collegare il tuo Ton Wallet al gioco se vuoi essere pronto per quando ci sarà l'airdrop (data non ancora annunciata).
Puoi connettere il tuo Ton Wallet nella sezione Earn cliccando in alto a destra e scegliendo la seconda opzione.
Ho iniziato a giocare anche su DJDog che ha dinamiche di gioco molto semplici come Hamster Kombat.
Leggermente più interattivo è PixelTap by Pixelverse che ha una dinamica di battaglia al suo interno.
Considerazioni Finali
Ho provato 4 tapper games e dopo averli provati le domande che mi sono posto sono due:
Giocherei a questi giochi per puro divertimento?
Giocherei a questi giochi senza la possibilità di partecipare ai futuri airdrops?
La risposta ad entrambe le domande è NO!
Questi tapper games sono giochi molto semplici da giocare ma non sono divertenti nel senso che ci sono giochi basati su blockchain che hanno dinamiche di gioco enormemente più divertenti come ad esempio Splinterlands (Hive) e Illuvium (Immutable X).

Anche se considero i tapper games poco divertenti stanno comunque svolgendo un ruolo molto positivo perchè potrebbero contribuire a far conoscere il mondo delle blockchain ad un numero maggiore di persone e per quanto riguarda TON giocherà un ruolo importante l'integrazione con Telegram che ha milioni di utenti.
Giocherò ai tapper games nei miei ritagli di tempo e solo per partecipare agli airdrop.
Sinceramente non credo che i tapper games avranno prospettive di medio-lungo termine e per questo motivo ho già deciso una possibile strategia per i token che riceverò dagli airdrop.
Quando e se riceverò i token dagli airdrop venderò una parte per acquistare TON e un'altra parte per acquistare HIVE per poi aumentare il mio Hive Power.
Gli airdrops saranno quindi i miei obiettivi principali e anche le uniche motivazioni che mi faranno giocare a questi giochi!
