"1000" Miles!
Hello there Friends, Happy Monday evening - and thank you for your visit!

This is post number 18 in the #cyclingcommunity. I have made it!
1000 miles / 1609.34 kilometers for the year - so far!
I remember back in January thinking 365 would be good, then in May/June saying (to myself) 500 would be good and then doubling that!
This is the "most miles" I have ridden since the mid 90's in a year and I am pretty excited!
And...
Now I have a baseline for next year, which is also good! Also, I am thinking I deserve a "new bike" as a birthday present - to myself. I am looking primarily at E-bikes - and all styles and types, I will keep you posted!
So without further adieux...
The numbers, and before we get started - "it was all Green bike". The Black one still has a flat...
But to keep things in order...

And so...
The Black bike:

This Monday I am at,
762.3 miles / 1226.80 kilometers,
an increase of,
0.0 miles / 0.0 kilometers

And the Green bike pulling all the weight (and neighbors ask me why I have two!), and really this "is" really my favorite of the two!

The Green bike,

This Monday:
241.70 miles / 388.97 kilometers,
an increase of,
16.32 miles / 26.26 kilometers

So this puts me at,
16.32 miles / 26.26 kilometers (total) for the week as well.

This puts the total at,
1004 miles / 1615.78 kilometers!
So at 66 I made it over the 1000 for the year! Naturally I will continue on, while planning out next year. As I said amongst other things I did want to establish a baseline for the future. Where I should be at such and such a date, where I was last year, etc...

And so friends, I am pretty happy and totally looking forward to next year and a new bike - pretty soon!

I also want to thank you again for your visit, I do appreciate it!
And that was it for this week,
"Keep On Pedalin'"!
🚴🚲🚴🚲🚴

Remember "The Father" in ALL THINGS!
He "Remembers You"!

Congratulations on reaching your goal!
You still have some days left to even increase your mileage!
