Hello friends and a happy Tuesday evening I wish you and want to thank you for your visit!
This is a report for yesterday's activities, but the photos are from today. I didn't really take any yesterday and basically visited the same places so....
So the day started with this Sunrise!
And then the normal routine with the Kitties here and at the old house.
After all the Cats were fed and me too, I took a bike ride, actually the first of two. So here is the Park in the morning. This is a view of the Fishing Pier from the left,
and from the right,
The clouds look like someone just shot off fireworks! Also, see the ripple in the water?
This is a school of baby fish. If a bird sees that they are doomed!
This is a look up my street from the Southside for a change,
From there I rode out to the highway. Here I saw something that you would not think of here,
Yes, those are Gopher mounds! This is not too bad. In the neighborhood where the "old house" is, there are many more...
From there I rode back to the Park. Here is a view up the Shoreline,
And this is "someone" who is "breaking the law" at the breeding pond,
See the net at his feet? He is catching baby fish to sell at bait shops, a lucrative business for sure - but.... This area is reserved for wildlife.
Soon they will have to have people sitting out here - again!
And so I left the Park and headed home, I got in a good 8 miles / 12.87 kilometers - great for the numbers!
On the way out of the Park I saw this "Tickseed" was flowering by the roadside,
I wanted to share this to show, yes everything is still blooming - on the 17th of December!
And that was the day! The rest was just doing normal house chores.
