Hace meses su ginecóloga le había recomendado hacerse un eco grafía mamaria y una mamografía, luego debía llevarla a la mastóloga, aunque se hizo los estudios, que son pagos, no los llevo a la especialidad para su revisión, por su alto costo, lo fue dejando para después y hasta hora que se ha sentido con esta molestia, nos pusimos manos a la obra, pues es mejor evitar males mayores.
Fuimos a la consulta, según mi mamá llevaba la mamografía y resulta que solo era un eco, ya habíamos pagado la consulta 60 $, así que sería una pérdida de tiempo no tener este estudio tan importante. Así que no esperamos más y en la misma clínica le mandamos hacer la mamografía, con un costo de 25 $ dólares.
Vimos algunas decoraciones, alusivas al mes rosa, ya que en el mes de octubre se trata de concientizar sobre el Cáncer de Mamá, terrible enfermedad que le quitó la vida a mi hermana hace 4 años, con tan solo 33 años de edad.
La mamografía se la hicieron rápido y había más de 10 personas en la lista, muchas mujeres aprovechan las ofertas y los llamados de atención. Los resultados se enviaron de manera digital a la mastóloga, así que al final mi mamá fue atendida, le hicieron un eco mamario y junto con la mamografía, se le diagnosticó un pequeño tumor y aunque no es maligno, la especialista recomienda operarlo.
A las 48 horas nos dieron los resultados de la mamografía en un estudio impreso y en CD, ya se lo llevamos a la doctora y todavía falta una nueva consulta con ella para gestionar lo de la operación. Le agradezco a Dios todo lo que nos pueda ayudar con la salud de mi mamita querida, puesto que además de esto tiene otras sintomatologías que también tenemos que tratar.
En estas dos salidas, aproveché de timar unas fotos con mi mamá que las comparto con ustedes a través de @liketu. Luego se siga contando en que quedó lo del tumor qué tiene mi mamá en el seno derecho y que con el favor de Dios pronto se va a erradicar.
Todo gracias a que se hizo su mamografía, cosa que puede salvar su vida, ya que si nos dormimos y no actuamos rápido, nos vemos vulnerable ante esta enfermedad tan temida por las mujeres, aunque a los hombres también les da.
Si tu mujer, estás en edad y posibilidad de realizar esta mamografía, no lo pienses. También pienso hacerme una en estos días, pues por cuestiones hereditarias por mi hermana, estoy en riesgo de contraer la enfermedad, ni que Dios lo permita.
