Eclipse of Sun in some parts of Nigeria

in Rant, Complain, Talk6 months ago

Greetings everyone.

Today was a very different day from the usual scorching heat. The sun wasn't at its peak as it has been in recent days. I did some laundry work very early in the morning and hung the clothes on the line to dry under the sun. However, the sun was elusive throughout the day, and not all the clothes were dried when I went to remove them in the evening.

Eclipse of the sun:

Entering social media in the evening, the first set of posts that appeared were news of an eclipse of the sun in some states in Nigeria. I didn't believe it because on social media, people post anything just to trend. So, I decided to verify by visiting some notable news sites, and I was shocked to see that it was actually true.

How could such a thing happen without me or people in my area knowing? Does it mean that eclipses of the sun occur differently in different parts of the country? Of course, I wasn't indoors; I was at work throughout the day, and I didn't see anything of the sort.
Well, maybe it's possible for such to occur in some parts of the country and not in others.

I read many comments on those news articles, and many people likened the occurrence to a good omen, while some attributed it to signs of the world ending.

A lady drove from London to Nigeria in 68 hours:

This is one of the top-charting news stories in Nigeria: a lady in a video landed in Nigeria from London and claimed she did it in 68 days. Many questions have arisen about her claim, even though the lady was seen and interviewed.
One of the leading questions is: which route did she take? As far as we know, there's no direct ground route linking the two countries, and flights have been the major means of traveling between them.

News has it that she passed through 17 countries, from England to France, Spain, Morocco, and through the vast West Sahara Desert, all by road. According to the itinerary, she drove via Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, and Benin before arriving in Lagos.

It's truly remarkable for her to have had the courage and bravery to pass through those deserts without thinking of the dangers. According to the news, she had many bad experiences, but all of them made the journey complete and worth talking about.

She was warmly received by the commissioner of tourism in Lagos, as well as many Nigerians.

Throughout my few years on earth, I've never thought of something like that. I was surprised when I saw the clips because it's truly a record-breaking event.

Many people who were not aware of the possibility of traveling from Nigeria to London by land have started to make plans to use this route because it'll be cheaper than a direct flight.

As for the eclipse of the sun, did you wabt it to give you a written letter before it occurs?🙄.

It's possible she did but something in me is finding it hard to accept.

Me I no see any eclipse here o
All I saw was hot sun but I felt a sensation in my body that made me know that the day was different

😂😂😂, aside the bodily sensation, the weather was constantly changing becoming almost gloomy and that's how I knew that something was up

yeah, yeah. That also happened. The ground in my backyard opened up, and some monsters came out. I defeated them, Sha.
