On Friday the tickets for Oasis went up for pre-sale, and a bunch of us had signed up to get a chance to buy tickets early. Luckily, my mum managed to get it, while the rest of us didn't.
Each person had a chance to buy four tickets, we all sent her money and were prepared to get our four tickets. She was going to buy hers, mine, Aimee's and my dad's together.
After waiting in the queue for the better part of an hour it was her chance to buy them, and when she clicked on four tickets, nothing happened, and it said it couldn't process the order. So, after a few attempts, she tried 3 tickets, and that worked.
We got our 3 tickets, mine, hers, and Aimee's.
My dad was a bit disappointed about it but decided that he'd get his this morning when the ticket sales went live at 8 AM, along with my sister and her partner.
They all got in the queue to buy their tickets, my sisters didn't work, but my dads did... he was placed at 460,000. They were literally ready with their fingers on the button at 8.
They waited and waited, and waited, and after about 4 hours of being in the queue, their turn arrived, and when they went to buy tickets, the only ones available were VIP tickets, for about €500, which was ridiculous.
Deciding not to pay silly money on tickets, they backed out in the hopes that they'll open up more dates in Ireland, that they might get a chance to buy.
Our tickets cost us €138 after fees, each, and while it's a lot of money, I can't wait and we're all really excited to see them live. They could potentially split up after this tour, or they may continue gigging, who knows? I'm not saying it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see them, but it's pretty damn close.
