It can really feel horrible. How is it that people assure you that you can share your thoughts and your worries with them, only for you to find out that it has been shared to myriads of people?
It has made me come to a rather sad conclusion: A problem shared is a content for others.
Make sure you are not so comfortable to share a part of yourself to just anyone. Unless they have proven themselves trustworthy, it rarely ends well.
What is funny is the fact that your story is transformed, or should I say fine tuned the way the unsent messenger wants it to sound. As a lady, you can tell someone you’ve been having stomach ache for days, but you will hear from others that you are 3 weeks pregnant. It is just horrible.
Guess what I will say next time. “I’m fine, thank you”. I figured you can never go wrong with that response.
Not everyone cares, be careful who knows your story. Some just want it for content.
Gone are the days when a problem shared is half solved.
Now a problem shared is a content.
What people don’t know, they cannot ruin.
Nevertheless it’s a beautiful day to be alive!
Have a good one.
