What a joy to be back in this wonderful ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨:  to share with everyone some photographs of beautiful mushrooms that we found during the week, beautiful mushrooms that are ideal to accompany our friend @ewkaw in this great ¨FungiFridayContest¨:   one of the many initiatives that I look forward to its arrival, since I enjoy knowing and learning about mushrooms from other parts of the world

This week we have had beautiful days, ideal for taking a walk close to nature while we were searching for mushrooms. This has been one of the varieties of mushrooms that we have found the most in recent months, it is a fungus of a genus known as ¨Trametes¨:  mushrooms are one of those mushrooms that need wood to develop; I love its texture, its shape, and logically the pattern and color combination

Beyond being a beautiful space to walk, what I like most about this property is that when it comes to looking for mushrooms, it never disappoints; This week we were treated to a species of mushroom that we had never seen before, it is a mushroom known by the name of ¨Agaricus¨arvensis¨:  It was really exciting to find this new species of mushroom

You have probably seen this mushroom before, since it is one of those mushrooms known in much of the world, although it is also very well known here, it has been more than a year since the last time we found its presence in the reserve. For those who do not know them, I tell you that it is a fungus known by the name of ¨Schizophyllum¨commune¨:  a type of fungus that develops in the wood trunk or branches of trees.

This beautiful colony of mushrooms has developed on the trunk of two standing trees, meaning the surface of the wood doesn't necessarily have to be rotten for these mushrooms to grow. In some cities, different foods are prepared with these mushrooms. How great to see these mushrooms again after several months of absence. The photographs were taken with a Nikon Coolpix B500.
