Hello #Hive photography lovers friends!... I brought with me today to share with you some photos taken during morning walks on the rural roads around my village. I am amazed by the variety of insect species I have encountered... Just look at the mantis in the first picture... I almost died of fright when it adopted that pose when pointed at with my camera lens!.... Colours are also something that abound these days in the nearby nature, so each of these morning walks have become very pleasant and highly productive as far as photography is concerned... Come and have a look at the pictures I brought for you today on #Hive!...

¡Hola amigos amantes de la fotografía en #Hive!... Traje hoy para compartir con ustedes algunas fotos hechas durante paseos matutinos en los caminos rurales alrededor de mi pueblo. Estoy sorprendido por la variedad de especies de insectos que he encontrado... ¡Miren no más la mantis de la primera foto!... ¡Casi muero del susto cuando adoptó esa pose al ser apuntada con el lente de mi cámara!... Los colores también son algo que abunda en estos días en la naturaleza cercana, entonces cada una de estas caminatas matutinas se me han hecho muy placenteras y altamente productiva en cuanto a fotografías se refiere... ¡Ven y mira las fotos que traje para ti hoy en #Hive!...

Walking observing the vegetation that grows along the rural roadsides, is an excellent physical and mental exercise... Here the rainy season has been more extended than usual and it seems that this has favoured an increase in insect and plant populations as well as diversity... I really feel lucky to have all this close at hand and to be able to share it with you in #Hive...

Caminar observando la vegetación que crece en las orillas de los caminos rurales, es un tipo de ejercicio físico y mental excelente... Aquí la temporada de lluvias se ha extendido más de lo usual y al parecer esto ha favorecido el incremento de las poblaciones de insectos y plantas así como también la diversidad... Realmente me siento con suerte de tener todo esto muy cerca y poder compartirlo con ustedes en #Hive...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.

NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografías capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.

Is it the praying mantis on the first photo? Looks scary! The flowers on the 4th photo from the bottom look like sweet potato flowers that we had this year.

I always admire insect photography even though it creeps me out 😁 Great macro shots!

Yes, that is a Praying Mantis dear @delishtreats friend!!!... And it seems that it doesn't like me taking pictures of it!... hahaha :))... I almost ran away from there, what a bad temper that insect has!... But it's fascinating, it's big, it's about 10 cm long!!!... Yes, that leaf has that pretty pink color veined with yellow similar to sweet potato flowers, but this one belongs to a vine that here locally in spanish is called: "Pascualita" ;)

WOW, mi pana, estoy seguro de que esa cámara es lo máximo, bueno en las fotos, se puede ver la calidad de fotos, yo a veces he logrado hacer unas buenas fotos, no todo el tiempo además no tengo una cámara profesional, normalmente utilizo mi celular, un redmi note pro 10 considero que el marcro que tiene esa cámara es muy bueno, un día de estos cuando pueda voy a hacer un post con algunas fotos utilizando el macro. Te puedo citar para que las veas, me avisas.

Hola @lanzjoseg, gracias por pasar y apreciar mi trabajo! Yo, mi vieja Nikon D7000 y mi viejo lente Tokina 100mm llevamos juntos unos 12 años creo, así que ya nos conocemos bien y solemos hacer un buen trabajo cuando nos juntamos jejeje :))... Con respecto a lo de macros con móviles, sé que ahora hay lentes para esto que se adaptan con una especie de montura click y convierten la cámara del móvil en una herramienta mucho más adecuada para este tipo de fotos... Aquí en #Hive hay varios fotógrafos que usan ese tipo de lentes como @mnurhiver y @akukamaruzzaman entre otros y puedo decir que ellos hacen fotos macro excelentes con esos lentes externos en sus móviles, te recomiendo seguirlos y seguro disfrutarás de sus trabajos... De cualquier manera, adelante, puedes etiquetarme en tus posts, aunque igual acabo de seguir tu cuenta para estar más pendiente y no perderme... ;)

Hi @lanzjoseg, thanks for stopping by and appreciating my work! Me, my old Nikon D7000 and my old Tokina 100mm lens have been together for about 12 years I think, so we already know each other well and we usually do a good job when we get together hehehe :))... Regarding macros with mobile phones, I know that now there are lenses for this that adapt with a kind of click mount and turn the mobile camera into a much more suitable tool for this type of photos... Here in #Hive there are several photographers who use that type of lenses like @mnurhiver and @akukamaruzzaman among others and I can say that they take excellent macro photos with those external lenses on their phones, I recommend you follow them and you will surely enjoy their work... Anyway, go ahead, you can tag me in your posts, although I may have just followed your account to be more aware and not miss out... ;)

Estas son unas fotografías asombrosas y es que eres un artista, por las fotos que tomas y porque todo lo que enfocas, lo haces una obra de arte. Me encantan los insectos y esa mantis, está bellísima, se aprecian unas manchas oscuras en sus brazos qué no había visto en otras como ella. Y la oruga, su rostro es fabuloso.

Hola amiga @marpa!!!... Mil gracias por este tan motivador comentario!... Te cuento que esa es una gran mantis hembra y adopta esa postura cuando se sienten amenazadas, entonces procuran parecer un animal más grade y presumo que esas manchas obscuras simulan ojos... ¡Todo un espectáculo, e incluso hacen un sonido seco como un escupitajo o algo por el estilo!... Casi que me voy corriendo sin hacer la foto!... hahaha :))

Saludos @jlinaresp, las imágenes están excelentes, de hecho la Mantis Religiosa, parece estar posando para la foto, igual que el saltamontes que no se movió.
En cuanto a las mariquitas, las agarraste es un acto impúdico, pero ellas ni pendiente de ser vistas en su intimidad. Jajajaja.
De verdad están muy buenas.

Personally, I would have been scared to take that shot seeing the posture the grasshopper took when you wanted to do it.

Did you know in my place it is believed that a praying mantis can cause blindness if it spits into your eyes? I don't know if it's a myth but I believed it my entire life. This is why if I held the camera I would have been afraid to take the shot.

I am glad you were bold enough to do it and it turned out beautifully. The rest of the shots you took are lovely too. The rain did bring a lot of positivity in terms of increased activities for pollination.
