We Are Alive! June 15th, 2022

Today after work, we brought dinner with us to eat at the park. Normally Tuesdays are our "outing night", but it was postponed to Wednesday. I didn't get many photos at the park, it was PACKED full of people.

A very hot day for Michigan, around 91 degrees Fahrenheit or 32 degrees Celsius. We found some shade near the water and away from the bulk of the crowds. There must have been thousands upon thousands at the beach today. Sharing music, sharing space, sharing pot smoke, sharing sand toys. A lot of sharing going on!

After we got back, things became a lot quieter. My daughter helped me pick some volunteer chamomile flowers that are coming up for the dehydrator.

We had an eventful evening, how about you? What did you do today?

Hello my friend! 😊

So far today I've, fed our feathered friends/squirrels/chipmunks their breakfast, done the barn chores, dishes, helped my husband with weeding and dispatching of pests from our garden beds and the laundry is going in after I finish this, then I've got to get going on folding and putting away a load of laundry, vacuuming and restocking/washing out the fridge before I get to go relax until it's time to make dinner. That's pretty much my day everyday in the spring/summer once things start growing in the garden around here, well except I have to add dusting and spider evictions once a week as well, just weren't on my list of things for today. LOL! 😊

It was! You are absolutely right, LOL! 😊

Today was even better though, despite the pouring rain outside right now, because today started off with me getting to hold one of our squirrels while she ate out of my hand. It was so soft and I loved every second of it. I probably grinned like a crazy person the whole time she was in my hand. LOL! 😊
