While I was at the store, I saw something that I could not resist for my son. It's a surprise for him, so shhhhh. I'm saving giving it to him for an opportune time, probably after the new baby arrives (which is any week now).
It's a 1957 Corvette, die cast 1/26th scale. Yes it's pink, he'll like it just fine. It's a two-seater, which is very different from the 16 seat shuttle bus we drive.
The pink Corvette was an impulse buy, I admit it. Even though this is not the best time for impulse purchases, I looked up comparable cars on Amazon and found them much more expensive than the opportunity which was before me.
And I know he'll really like it.
I considered getting him the VW van, but I felt it was more fragile and the color wasn't quite as attractive.
What do you think? Was the pink Corvette the better choice?
