My silver Staff
I teased you a bit on my discord about another part of my shiny stack. So there it is !
One piece I never shown before, even if it is in my possession for more than 20 years, already.
This staff is about 93 cm long and weights 800gr. Made of Silver and camel bones.
I bought this one when I went to Marocco with my first wife, a few days in Agadir (Club med all inclusive).
A very nice trip, where my wife absolutely wanted to visit Tiznit, a city known for it's silver craftmen / artisans ...
They have plenty of various things there, always related to silver...
But I didn't found anything for me to buy as souvenir until I saw this walking stick which I immediately converted into a mage staff... Seriously :) ... A short one, but still ...
Close up
5 engraved silver cylinders, ...
joined by 5 camel carved bones cylinders, ...
and a wooden tip.
The wooden tip is better for the contact with the ground, the bones would be damaged very quickly.
It's a piece of art, and solid enough to walk and use it on a daily basis. Still intact after twenty years of use...
The question to the community :
Do you also collect some unusual objects ? Do you mind sharing their stories?
And, of course, do you like the staff ?
