Did someone say weekend is here? πππ Well, it's FriYAY! Got one more work day, but tonight I switch my mode...
Well, we haven't had rain in three days -- despite the weather forecast that said there would be thunderstorm. Oh well, I suppose even weather forecast these days is a hit or miss. π Back in the days, our rainy season was totally felt during the months of June, July, and August. We would have several typhoons, and there were days when we'd have suspension of classes. Those were fun times for us as students. π I seriously find it strange that weather is still relatively warm during these months. Eight days left in August and still no typhoon in sight. Planet earth is undergoing weather changes and it's real. I don't think it's climate change. I think it's part of the earth's cycle. Changes will come whether we like it or not.
Alive&Thriving Food Friday : Eating light tonight
I seriously did not feel like cooking again tonight. I've contemplated on ordering sandwich but changed my mind as I didn't want to go down to get my order. Sadly, these food delivery apps no longer deliver to one's doorstep. π I checked my food pantry and chose the easiest to prepare. I know it's pretty warm, but since I'm treating myself to some cooling tonight, I decided to prepare myself cream of mushroom soup. Then I added crackers and cheese slices to complete my light dinner. π I do not mind eating light once in a while.
Ahhh it feels so good to be in a cool room. π I'm thankful I can treat myself to some cooling for the weekend. πβ€οΈπ‘ If I had more resources, I'd do it daily (and not just on weekends). Hopefully, I'll also sleep better. Some nights are pretty good, but other times I wake up multiple times during the night. Those nights are no fun at all, since I do wake up early for morning work. For now, I'd say I'm still working on catching up on restful sleep. I do wonder if that's part of getting old. I remember Mom used to tell me she had sleeping issues too. π€
I actively work on these affiliate sites daily. I'm waiting to reach payout on LeadsLeap. Hopefully, that won't take too long.
