Today's photo is right next to the alas diyes plant. This was taken in the afternoon, so the flowers are asleep. Mom helped me with the repotting of this plant. Propagating it would be a tribute to her. 🤗🤗
Isn't life ironic? I'm doing #iamalivechallenge posts daily, yet I just lost my mom. 😑😑 As my old man used to say, "Death comes like a thief in the night." True enough, it all happened so fast. Too fast that I felt it wasn't at all fair to Mom. She was so full of life, so free-spirited, so alive. Then covid happened. 🙄🙄 It has been almost one and a half year that our lives have been taken from us all. I'm not too happy about it either. But we do have different ways of coping, so perhaps it broke a bit of Mom's spirit. 😑😑 My daughter put together a video tribute to show how alive my mom was. You can check it out on my profile.
I do not want to end on a sad note. Here are some scenes from the cats outside. They have been quiet too. It's like they're also grieving mom's loss. 😿😿
Well, tomorrow is another day. Let us look forward to better days. We have yet to hear updates from the hospital. 😒😒 oh well....
