Today is the last day of the leadership camp. After days of rigorous activities and various soft skills strengthening, a 2 week long camp had finally ended for a group of 30 people whom chose to sacrifice their school holidays to hone their leadership skills.
Many friendships were forged through the activities where everyone was tested to their limits and the only way out was to work as a team, listen to instructions and pay attention to everyone's condition. So much had been learnt that can't be taught from typical classroom sessions.
It was a sentimental day and during the closing speech for the lead instructor of the camp, he said this, "Today marks the end of the camp but the path to growing leadership goes a long way and today is just the beginning. You have to find your own way and find your style of leadership. I wish you all the best and if our paths cross, do remember to say hi."
