it’s a simple book and easy to read but it was initially what got me into reading, “Treasure Island” by Robert Louis Stevenson! it went on to inspire a lot of other creative works! 😁
If you like hard sci-fi, I recommend the epic "Corvus" from Neal Stephenson, as described here (in German).
That name is very familiar and I would personally add that to my 2025 reading list.
It's a Brazilian book talking about some disturbing events during the Military Dictatorship (which was one of the darkest political periods in Brazil).
I'm still finishing reading it, but I can say it's worth it (very much).
