Here we go with my first Hive-based crypto-token progress report of 2025.
I set some ambitious and some more modest targets for this year. My most ambitious target being the 12k HBD stretch goal...
A rather more modest goal was my decision to boost my WorldMappin delegation by 250 HP, which I achieved during the first week of the new year. 🎉🥳🎊
My Liquidity Pool Goals
This year, I have put more focus on expanding my liquidity pool shares. However, part of the reason for doing that is to build up tokens that can quickly be liquidated while earning high interest rates. If one of my pool tokens pumps, I will liquidate the pool and cash out the token either for HP or HBD. If not, I will keep on building towards the 2025 share targets I have set for each pool.
About half way through January I decided to add the PWR / SwapHive pool to my portfolio as PWR looks like a promising token, softly pegged to Hive, and offering an interest rate of over 20%.
Delegations
This is the first time that I have set yearly targets for delegations. I started the year with two delegation targets: ChessBrothersPro and WorldMappin. Then, in the middle of the month, I found out a bit more about how Ecency works and decided to delegate to that project as well.

Why I Sold Some CTPSB
Not too bad at all, but wait a minute... What happened to CTPSB? My holdings declined by 39 tokens, putting me further from my 2025 target of 800 tokens than where I was at the start of the year...
Well, early in the month there was a nice pump in the price of Hive, and so I sold those CTPSB to take advantage of the pump to buy some HBD. I didn't want to unstake and sell off my HP (and the pump might have been over by the time the unstaked Hive Power became liquid), so I sold off some CTPSB instead.
If Bitcoin hits a new All Time High any time soon, I will probably send some over to the Hive blockchain and use it to buy some more CTPSB!
And if Bitcoin goes on a barnstorming run, it might enable me to hit my stretch goal for HBD later this year too!
