2nd Thoughts about SFI: Can their Eager Zebra Games Site Become A Mega-Marketing Funnel?

in #alive2 days ago

In my previous blog post I shared a video about my decision to move on from the SFI affiliate program:

At the time, I believed SFI was transitioning entirely into Wealthy Affiliate, where I’m already a premium member. Once my active SFI affiliates had joined Wealthy Affiliate, I didn’t see a compelling reason to stick with SFI.

However, two new updates have made me reconsider - at least for the next ten months...

Here's my latest video on the situation at SFI and my thoughts about it:

Eager Zebra Memberships and Rewardical Updates

First, SFI has added Eager Zebra memberships to the Rewardical Exchange. In my previous video I complained that the Rewardical site no longer offered anything of interest - just a few items of branded merch.

As of this week, however, you can use Rewardicals to purchase Basic, Premium, or Premium Plus Eager Zebra memberships. A basic membership costs just 1,495 Rewardicals. With a balance of 18,000 Rewardicals, I could remain a basic member of Eager Zebra for nearly a year of membership without investing any cash. And since I no longer have any other use for Rewrdicals, that is what I intend to do for the next few month.

SFI’s Expanded Vision

Their second update reveals SFI’s broader plans. It now emerges that they want to create a portfolio of third-party affiliate programs (such as Wealthy Affiliate) that they want to funnel their members into.

If you have an SFI downline, those members will be encouraged to participate in these programs through your referral links.

If SFI adds some more programs that I work with - such as Livegood, Leadsleap, etc, then that would be a massive incentive for me to stick with the program.

Eager Zebra’s Role as a Funnel

Another reason why I've decided to stick around for a bit longer is SFI’s plan to expand its gaming platform, Eager Zebra, which will act as a front-end funnel to attract new members. Based on SFI’s historical data, games are highly effective at generating signups. With a free trial membership offer, SFI aims to attract online gamers with new games and bigger prizes. Once on board, those players will be funneled towards the affiliate programs that SFI has added to its portfolio...

So, in the light of those updates, and with nothing to lose, I'm going to stick around and see if SFI can deliver on its plans. If the vision of turning their Eager Zebra gaming platform into a mega marketing funnel actually works, it could become a valuable tool in my affiliate marketing toolkit.

On the other hand, if it turns out to be just another SFI white elephant, I'll be out of there as soon as I run out of Rewardicals!

We will see!

Cheers!
