Hello all Hive People & Splinterlands lovers,
I have been playing The Splinterlands, a play-to-earn game on the Hive blockchain, for the past five years. The current season will end in two days at the time I am drafting my post. I am already in Diamond II league and expecting to unlock the Diamond I before the season end, I need only the 250 rating points to reach the Diamond I. With 70,633 season end glint tokens rewards I have additional 56,501 glints in my game account. I spend almost all my Glints earned form the last season and this is my strategy every season. Earn and spend all on draws and mostly on Epic and Rare Draws. The ranked battle play give the opportunity to earn Glint, SPS directly with each ranked battle we win and the position on leaderboard also ensure the additional rewards and also season end glint rewards based on the glint earned during the season.
Game progress
The above screenshot shows my current game progress, I am battling in the Diamond II league and moving towards the Diamond I and very optimistic that will unlock the next league. With SPS staking the total reward boost is 7.82 times and every in rewards the 441 glints per win. I am part of Team Possible Guild and the gives the 15.00% Guild Bonus and 5.00% Title Bonus. The 7.82 boost includes all of them. From last couple of seasons I am ending the season in diamond league only, but I am pushing myself to unlock the champion league but I know the way to champions is no easy. I am more comfortable in champion and my most of the old card helps a lot and are more suitable for gold and diamond league.
At start of the season spend all Glint earned form the previous season. I mostly spend the glint on major draws which has the 33% change of getting a reward cards and I am using the potions also to increase the change of getting better rarity cards along with increase of gold foil chances. I started with the 150 Major chests, which are maximum number of chests available in batch 1. The next batch cost 1.5 times the previous chest. So I prefer to change the chest instead of going for same. Here are the screenshot of cards received form the Major chest.
Out of 150 chest got 121 cards, 253 Potions, 54 Energy and 20504 Merits. 121 cards out of 150 draws is not at all bad. 20504 Merits also enable me to purchase the 10 gladius case, which means 50 new cards in the collection. I have opened some more chests and gladius case also, which I will share in other post.
The price of BTC has increased in last couple of weeks and touched the all time high recently. The people are expecting the bull run and hopping the alt coin will also participate in rally. The Hive also shown a good spike in price today but the DEC and SPS do not shown any moment. The sudden spike is not considered good as it is temporary effect mostly. Hope the DEC and SPS will gain some value and the price of them will increases as the price of BTC and Hive are increasing.
