Gene goes with the prior album 2007’s “¡Viva la Cobra!” which bombed commercially but was a fun party pop record produced by Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump. I only remember this bands pre mainstream airplay record from knowing Gabe’s earlier pop punk band (lead singer) in 2000/2001. It’s a bit more pop than I prefer but I remember a drive with a ex playing it in 2007 a few times.
